The "J" Pups
Send You A Huge
It was really touch and go for these pups, but all five pups survived the horrific parvo virus and have returned to full health.
This could not have been done without your support and prayers. Three of the six pups have found their forever homes, but Jillian (pictured above), Jodie and Jeannie are still looking.

Dear PetConnect Rescue Friend,
There are so many exciting things happening at PCR this spring. As you read through this newsletter, you will notice an uptick in the number of community events in which we are participating. This directly correlates to our solid reputation within the community as a well-respected rescue organization in addition to our growing volunteer and supporter base. Local groups and businesses want to partner with PCR to
help us spread awareness about rescue animals and to support our great work
. They are doing so by hosting events that are entertaining and attract attention. Some even have a fundraising component to benefit our animals. We are so fortunate to have wonderful volunteers who jump into action when the invitations come in. All of these good works impact the PCR dogs and cats in such amazing ways. Thank you!

Once again, it's time to ask ourselves...
How can I DO MORE for animals in need?
Thursday, June 2nd
12Midnight to 11:59PM
Do More 24 is a 24-hour, online giving campaign that focuses on social needs with our DC Metro community and provides local non-profits with a platform to address those needs.
Do More 24 is powered by the United Way of the NCA and is the largest single giving day in our area. Only local non-profits are invited to participate, and all donations raised by each organization will go directly to them.
Last year,
Do More 24 cumulatively brought in
$1.4 Million dollars for local charities.
PetConnect Rescue was able to raise just over
$5,000! We are hoping that we can do it again this year!
On June 2nd, we ask that you visit our Do More 24 page, donate and share our
story or your own PCR rescue story with 5 of your friends and family.
In turn, challenge those individuals
to
tell 5 more people, and so on!
In addition to the online giving, we will be holding several
Do More 24 mini-adoption events that day. As we get closer to the date, we will be providing more details, but we are grateful for the following awesome,
Do More 24 business partners this year:
Vineyard Vines in the Montgomery Mall
PetValu in Clarksburg
Bark! at the Kentlands
|
Remember to follow us on social media for updates and keep an eye out for our emails.
We know that with your help,
we can continue to
do more...
saving lives, providing excellent care, and connecting terrific animals
with their new families! Let's do it together on June 2nd!

Here are a couple of photos from an event that they put together. It was a Dog Show on 5/15 at the Howard Conservancy. They had raffles, collected lots of donations and had a great time!
