Theme For New School Year
As we welcome the new school year, the Parents Council’s theme for the 2022-2023 program year is Wellness. Each school year our theme serves as a launching pad for interesting, insightful speakers and meaningful programs to bring connection with and among independent school parents, teachers, and administrators and to share ideas on parenting, child development, and education. Wellness is defined as a dynamic process of learning new life skills and becoming aware of and making conscious choices toward a more balanced and healthy lifestyle across seven commonly understood dimensions: Social, Physical, Emotional, Career, Environmental, Intellectual, and Spiritual. Parents Council, through its programming, will this year seek to explore these aspects of wellness.
