  • In October, member school parents, administrators, faculty and staff screened the documentary films, Miss Representation and The Mask You Live In from their homes. The documentaries provided insight on how to value people as whole human beings, not gendered stereotypes. A virtual, live discussion then was held with moderator Judith Warner, author of And Then They Stopped Talking to Me: Making Sense of Middle School. PCW Speaker Series: Jeff Selingo and Ned Johnson on College Admissions, December 2, 2020
  • Wednesday, December 2, from 7:00-8:15 pm via Zoom
  • Join us for an informative discussion with New York Times best-selling author Jeff Selingo regarding his extensive research and newly released book Who Gets In and Why: A Year Inside College Admissions and Ned Johnson, founder of PrepMatters and co-author of The Self-Driven Child: The Science and Sense of Giving Your Kids More Control Over Their Lives.
  • This speaker series event will provide insight into how to find colleges that will be a good fit and how college admission decisions are made. Notably the program will address the admission process during the pandemic such as changing classroom assessments and grading policies, lack of varied extracurricular activities and sports, cancelled standardized tests, test-optional policies, virtual visits, and more.

Winter Program Event: Talking To Kids About Racism January 14, 2021
  • Save the date for this year's PCW Winter program event. A panel of member school directors of diversity will discuss productive ways that their schools talk with students and families about racism. Thursday, January 14, 2021, 7:00-8:30pm. More details and an invitation to follow.
