PAUL SANNER
God, thank you for this day and all days, this place and all places, my life and all lives.  Please help me to know your presence wherever I may be, and to do your will with all that I have been given.
Scripture
Psalm 133

How very good and pleasant it is
when kindred live together in unity!
It is like the precious oil on the head,
          running down upon the beard,
     on the beard of Aaron,
running down over the collar of his robes.
It is like the dew of Hermon,
which falls on the mountains of Zion.
For there the LORD ordained his blessing,
          life forevermore.
(NRSV)
Reflection
Closing Prayer
Loving God, please grant that your holy and life-giving Spirit may so move every human heart, that the barriers which divide us may crumble, suspicions disappear, and hatreds cease; that with our divisions healed, we might live in justice and peace.  Amen.
