Dear Friends,
Please join us on January 27, 10am to 12pm, for an Open House at Potomac Crescent Waldorf School, where children learn through exploration, connect with nature, and develop socially and emotionally in an environment free from academic pressure.
We believe that "the work of the child is play." Following a gentle daily rhythm, children in our early childhood programs stretch their imaginations and develop new capabilities through self-directed play, meaningful work, artistic activities, joyful songs, and imaginative stories. Students in our elementary school program further develop these skills in an environment that blends academic work with arts and movement, keeping alive children's natural love of learning.
We offer Parent-Child programs, a three-day Nursery for three-year-olds, and a Mixed-Age Kindergarten for four-to-six-year-olds. Our elementary school program serves students in Grade 1 through Grade 5.
For those strongly considering an application to our Nursery or Kindergarten program, please register to attend a playgroup on
January 27 at 9am, just prior to our Open House. The playgroup provides a chance for you and your child to get to know our teachers and the Waldorf classroom. Please RSVP

Potomac Crescent Waldorf School is the only accredited Waldorf school in Northern Virginia.

MORNING IN THE GRADES
Saturday, January 27 from 8:30am - 10:30am
Be a grades student for a morning to experience a mock Waldorf Main Lesson. This program is for adults only. Learn more about our grades curriculum and join the rest of your family at our Open House later if you desire.

Drop by our Open House with your family to learn about our school. Meet our teachers and administration, and learn more about our programs and curriculum while your children play. No RSVPs required.

NOW ENROLLING
Fall Parent-Infant and Parent-Toddler Classes
The Parent-Infant and Parent-Toddler classes offer caregivers a supportive gathering of adults, guided by a teacher. We will enjoy seasonal songs, movement, stories, healthy snacks, and playtime.
The Parent-Infant class is for babies 6 weeks to 12 months old and a caregiver. The class meets on Fridays, 11:30am to 12:45pm on September 14, 21, 28 and October 5. The cost is $300.
The Parent-Toddler class is for children 12 to 24 months old and a caregiver. The class meets on Fridays, 11:30am to 1:00pm on October 12, 19, 26 and November 2, 9 and 16. The cost is $500.
