Speaker: Dr. Maya Katz

Dr. Maya Katz is a movement disorders neurologist at Stanford Health Center. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr. Katz obtained her medical degree at Cornell University. She completed her residency in Neurology at Mount Sinai Medical Center where she served as chief resident. She then completed her Movement Disorders Fellowship at UCSF. Dr. Katz specializes in deep brain stimulation and other advanced treatment approaches.
Her main clinical and research focus is optimizing the delivery and accessibility of palliative care for people with Parkinson’s disease and related disorders. Dr. Katz is dedicated to taking a comprehensive approach to well-being and to optimizing quality of life for patients and their families."
