Your Dollars Doubled!

As a Board we are delighted that 60 of you took us up on the offer to match any donations made from June 10 to June 19. Some of you contributed for the first time, some contributed by becoming recurring/monthly donors. Each of these gifts enables PD Active's strength and continuity. Board members were pleased to match all of your gifts—dollar for dollar—during this period. Thank you for your generosity.

June Forum Recap

PD Active was delighted to host author and broadcast journalist, Dave Iverson, on our June 11 Virtual Speaker Forum to talk about caregiving and Parkinson's disease in conjunction with his latest book, Winter Stars: An Elderly Mother, An Aging Son, and Life's Final Journey.

The recording of the Forum is on PD Active's YouTube channel here.

Please consider a donation of $10 to PD Active for any videos watched. PD Active depends upon these donations to be able to continue hosting these events. Donate here.

A few copies of Winter Stars are still available for purchase for only $10.00 (normally $15.99). To purchase one, email t.morrish@pdactive.org. Dave is directing all proceeds from his book to caregiving and PD causes including PD Active.

Check out the PD Active Monthly Calendar for listings of upcoming live-stream movement classes such as Tai Chi, boxing, yoga and voice.

Community Update
In Memory of Jenifer (Jill) Peale

Jill was one of the five founders of PD Active and a member of the original Board of Directors. She was part of the original Dance for PD® class where "she really flowered" reported Herb Heinz.
Jill stayed active into her 80s, pedaling around Berkeley on her bicycle and taking exercise classes with PD Active. She was a lovely, caring person, adored by many. PD Active owes Jill a debt of gratitude for her extraordinary efforts to help establish our organization.
