Instructors, facilitators and community members have stepped up to keep classes and support groups continuing in this new, virtual world. Participation and enthusiasm have been growing each week.
“The virtual classes have become vital opportunities for exercise and also for contact to our community. I have experimented with almost every PD Active class as well as weekend yoga and Pilates classes with Mark Morris Dance for PD® in Brooklyn. I remain appreciative for having these classes available at this time and for PD Active's efforts in making them possible”.
“The PD Active calendar has been a wonderful resource for me these past 9 weeks as we “shelter in place”. The classes keep me active and calm during this stressful time. It is especially nice to connect with my classmates and know that we are all supporting each other. I have boxed with Coach Daniel from Rock Steady Boxing, danced with Claudine at Danspace and learned Tai Chi with Otto, all on Zoom”.
