By & for those affected by Parkinson’s disease

November 2023

From the Board

PD Active Annual Appeal

As 2023 draws to a close, we thank you for your generous support. With your donations of time and talent, PD Active has become the "go to" resource for people affected by Parkinson’s in the East Bay. This year alone, 411 new members — more than one per day — joined PD Active and began accessing services they deemed essential to live well with Parkinson's.

The year-end Annual Appeal, our major source of funding, begins in November and continues until the end of the year. It takes all of us, giving as generously as we can, to sustain and support our growing local Parkinson’s community. Please join us in making a tax-deductible gift to PD Active today and see your dollars at work.

Fall Gathering at Live Oak Park on October 15.

We had a terrific Fall Gathering at the park in October. Over 100 people attended, ate delicious homemade desserts, and had a chance to connect with each other.  We look forward to more opportunities to gather in the next year.
