New and upcoming academies

Last week, our office hosted AA#4050, one of our final Evaluator Academies of the year. We have thoroughly enjoyed these last few months, connecting with school leaders and working with them to create effective evaluation plans for staff.

Looking to earn Administrator Academy credit or PD hours yourself? We have some upcoming opportunities that will be led by our Professional Learning team.

Our team has also debuted some new on-demand options that can be completed for Administrator Academy credit or PD hours:

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and our Instructional Coach, Faye Licari, has released another new course for those wanting help with addressing chronic absenteeism.

"Every Day Counts" can empower school teams to create a culture that supports every student. Participants will explore the scope of chronic absenteeism in Illinois, learn to analyze attendance data, identify root causes, and implement tiered, research-based strategies.

The ROE strives to help educators create environments that make students want to come to school. This is a practical, easy-to-digest course that can help with that work. It walks educators through the basics they need to support student attendance and spot early warning signs of absenteeism.
