Did you know: our own Professional Learning Supervisor, Jordan Eggleson, is now a certified Restorative Practices Trainer? This unique credential, handed down by the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP), recognizes Jordan for her ability to train educational staff in the fundamentals of restorative practices. These include the use of affective language, community-building, facilitating proactive and responsive circles, and other elements of the IIRP curriculum and framework.

Developing strategies and relationships on Day One of RSAC | |
We are celebrating an incredible start to the 2025 Raising Student Achievement Conference! This annual event kicked off in Oak Brook on Monday, with hundreds of educators from across Illinois coming together to explore ideas, innovative practices, and strategies to elevate learning for every student. From powerful messages via our Monday Keynote Speaker, David Edward Garcia, to engaging breakout sessions, there has been wonderful energy and collaboration.
We extend our appreciation to all presenters, partners, and participants who have helped bring this event together and make it an engaging success so far. We look forward to Day Two getting underway with our second Keynote Speaker, Matt Miller, followed by more professional learning opportunities throughout the day!

Last week, we hosted a successful first session in our free, monthly workshop series designed to help school leaders understand their Summative Designation. Participants dove into the data behind their designation as well as the Illinois Quality Framework Supporting Rubric (IQFSR).
There are six more sessions available for interested participants, with the second coming Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The focus will be psychological safety, building collaborative teams, and follow-up on the IQFSR.
If you you are a Superintendent, Building Administrator, or part of a School Leadership Team, we invite you to join us and deepen your understanding of the Continuous Improvement Framework and Summative Designation process. You will be able to connect actionable insights, data tools, and collaborative learning to help your team advance its improvement efforts.
Registration for each session will close one week prior to its date. You can attend the full series or pick and choose the sessions that fit your needs. Details and registration for each one are below.
