Petaluma ReLeaf Program
ReLeaf and the City of Petaluma plan to add over 400 California native shade trees in parks, open spaces, and along our streets.
Trees will be planted by volunteers who want to make a positive impact on our town. The best time to plant trees was 20 years ago but the next best time is now.
Volunteers Needed! Help create a more beautiful and comfortable town. A wonderful way to spend time with friends and community members who also love trees.

LumaGo 1 Year Review
Launched in September 2024, LumaGo is Petaluma’s free, on-demand rideshare program -- which has quickly become a community favorite for flexible, affordable rides across town and helping reduce traffic and emissions.
Since the pilot began, there have been 200+ service requests to expand LumaGo to East Petaluma, Petaluma North SMART Station, SRJC campus, & expanded hours.
City Council will discuss continuing LumaGo into the next fiscal year. In the meantime, Council has directed staff to explore cost-saving measures to allow Petaluma Transit to continue or expand the LumaGo service.
