February is a month of love, design, and celebration, which is especially fitting because we're celebrating our 48th birthday this month! Fun fact: our founding year, 1977, was a landmark for advertising when Milton Glaser introduced the iconic I ❤️ NY logo, a design that transformed branding forever.

Just like that iconic logo, PDDG was destined for greatness. For 48 years, we've been turning ideas into show-stopping campaigns and pixel-perfect designs.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

Over the past three years, we have had the pleasure of working with the City of Sacramento, a longtime PDDG client, on a variety of projects related to their Neighborhood Development Action Team (NDAT) initiative.

Most recently, we wrapped up our engagement support of the second cohort of the NDAT Community Ambassador program, a language justice program created to facilitate multicultural bridge building to develop and maintain relationships with community partners, businesses, and residents who represent linguistically diverse populations and/or historically underrepresented communities.

We are now kicking off the third cohort, which began February 1 and runs for a 12-month cycle. We are excited to welcome aboard the next team of Ambassadors and support their community outreach efforts.

PARKS & RECREATION

As we approach nine years of working with our friends at the City of Santee, we’re excited to unveil the refreshed and redesigned look and feel for the City’s Parks and Recreation publications. Starting with the Spring 2025 season, the seasonal guide and brochure have a fresh look and feel, including a vibrant color palette and updated graphical elements.

Over the past 8+ years, our creative team has successfully completed nearly 150 design projects for the City of Santee, including numerous campaign logos, signs, collateral, and graphical/map representations.

GRANTS / FUNDING

We are thrilled to expand our partnership with The Grants Clearinghouse (TGC), a full-service agency combining innovation and experience to offer a comprehensive solution for federal grant success built around their groundbreaking “Prepare. Win. Perform.” model.

Our two agencies are well-aligned as we both support clients in workforce development and higher education. Most recently, we crafted customized conference materials for TGC in support of their sponsorship of the Florida Council for Resource Development 2025 Spring Conference.

Over the coming months, we look forward to supporting TGC’s branding, marketing, and outreach needs across key U.S. markets.

February 1, 2025, marked 48 years in business for PDDG! It’s hard to believe how much our agency has evolved and grown over nearly five decades in the marketing and communications space. We are eternally grateful for all the continued support of our many client partners and the amazing team who makes it all possible. Thank you!
