-ISSUE 036-

Happy New Year to you! We hope your 2023 has started off wonderfully. In January, we found ourselves neck-deep in website design and development, and we treasured every minute! We love everything we do, but we admittedly geek out a little when we can provide our clients with a clean, well-organized, easy-to-navigate, clear, concise, modern, functional, branded, and motivational website.

Your website is a chance to not only show up but to show up and look good. Take the new year as an opportunity to evaluate your web presence, and let us help you to put forward your best online visual presence.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Over the past six months, we have been working closely with Western Illinois Works staff to refine the existing branding, develop a fresh web presence, create a suite of customer-focused outreach collateral, and launch a comprehensive recruitment campaign encouraging young adults in Western Illinois to seek free workforce services.

Most recently, we launched the successful redesign of three separate websites, each of which services an important purpose to either promote available workforce services to job seekers and employers, provide a platform for the workforce board to engage with community stakeholders, or facilitate a portal for workforce partners to promote available services and upcoming events.

We will unveil additional projects developed with Western Illinois Works in the coming months.

AGRICULTURE

The California Grain & Feed Association (CGFA), a client of PDDG’s for more than 16 years, recently enlisted our team to launch a rebuilt and refined website using the WordPress open-source content management system (CMS).

In addition to migrating the prior CGFA website to WordPress, our team also created three separate special event microsites for CGFA’s annual conferences. Our team continues to provide ongoing website support and maintenance for all CGFA sites.

HEALTHCARE

FS Medical Technology (FSMT), another long-time client of PDDG’s, has been working for the past year to define and craft the framework for a completely reimagined website presence.

Earlier this month, we launched FSMT’s new website, a fresh, modern site with intuitive navigation, a vibrant design solution, purposeful copy, and a mobile-first design strategy.

In addition to launching and maintaining FSMT’s new website, our team also provides ongoing marketing communications support.

NOTEWORTHY

PDDG Renews Support of NAWDP

After a successful 2022 partnering with the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP), we are proud to renew our support for 2023. Over the course of this year, we will be exhibiting at and attending NAWDP’s Annual Conference in New Orleans from May 8-10, and the Youth Symposium in Las Vegas from November 6-8.

NAWDP is a professional association representing individual workforce development and human resources practitioners who connect jobseekers, educators, and companies to advance the American economy.

If you plan on attending either event, stop by our booth and pick up one of our world-famous light-up pens!

PDDG Expands Workforce Development Reach in Illinois

PDDG has been partnering with the Lake County Workforce Development Board for the past two years on a series of projects, including a marketing communications plan, branding platform, website development, outreach collateral, and monthly newsletter.

Our agency was recently selected, as a result of a nationwide competitive RFP process, to work with the Job Center of Lake County in crafting a communications plan to increase awareness of the employment and training services and programs delivered by the Lake County Workforce Development Department and the Job Center. We are excited to work with the Job Center and expand our commitment to delivering high-caliber marketing communications services in Lake County.
