-ISSUE 040-

Conference season continues! Our team has been fortunate to participate and exhibit in multiple conferences over the last few months, and in May alone, we’ve loved seeing our workforce friends and clients at both the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals 2023 Annual Conference in New Orleans and at the California Workforce Association 2023 WORKCON Conference in San Diego. And our team across the pond in England has been working diligently on multiple tourism, trade, and higher education projects throughout the UK, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Are we busy? Yeah! Are we loving it? You know it! Read on for more of the industry projects and programs we are working on, and if you or your organization has any initiatives that we can help you with, please reach out to us!

POLICE / SAFETY

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the brand new, fully refreshed website presence for the City of Suffolk’s police recruitment efforts. This new website, built on the WordPress platform, offers a fresh, public-facing portal for job seekers and individuals interested in a career in law enforcement and supporting roles.

The new website includes detailed information about the Suffolk Police Department and divisions, top recruiting positions, required training, pay and benefits, and important application deadlines.

The City of Suffolk has been a valued PDDG client since 2018 and the launch of this new Police Department website continues our expansion in working with multiple city departments, joining our ongoing work for economic development and tourism.

FINANCE

PDDG is excited to welcome BCL of Texas to the Family! BCL is the most diverse statewide lender in Texas, having provided more than 13,000 loans to businesses, families, and consumers since 1990.

Our creative team will support BCL’s marketing and outreach efforts over the coming year, complete with a full suite of creative services, social media management, website design and maintenance, advertising, and more.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

The Monterey County Workforce Development Board, a long-standing member of the PDDG Family, has taken on the Technology industry with the Tech Cadre young adult job experience program. In these programs, they are training young adults – ages 18-24 – in the areas of social media and aerospace manufacturing. Participants will learn from experts in the field through both in-class learning and paid internships with a competitive salary!

To promote these exciting programs, PDDG produced the marketing and outreach collateral, dedicated web pages, and online sources for both the application process and the Board’s administrative processes.
