-ISSUE 046-
Gobble, gobble! It's that time of year again - when we stuff our faces with turkey, pumpkin pie, and questionable amounts of gravy. It’s also a time of reflection and appreciation. As we look back on the year, we are reminded of the importance of collaboration and community. We are grateful for all the individuals and organizations that have supported us along the way, and we hope that our ongoing efforts and partnerships will continue to make a positive impact in each of our communities and beyond.
Cheers to a day of giving thanks and taking naps, and we wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving from PDDG!

For more than 45 years, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has been a valued PDDG client partner. Caltrans manages the largest and most complex transportation system in the U.S. From statewide highway worker safety campaigns to annual reports, toll bridge marketing, and interactive learning modules, our team has developed a diverse mix of educational and outreach materials that have reached millions of people in California and across the U.S.
Most recently, our team was enlisted to develop and implement Caltrans’ annual Excellence in Partnering Awards Ceremony. This event recognizes the top transportation construction projects from across the state that exemplify partnering, teamwork, and honest and open communication. For 2023, a total of 15 projects were awarded silver or gold recognition, three of which received Best in Class designation. The construction projects were awarded in three categories: less than $10M, $10M-$50M, and greater than $50M.
Working closely with our Caltrans counterpart, we developed a detailed scope and work plan to guide the successful completion of more than 20 deliverables. Over a period of four months, our creative team developed the ceremony graphics and logo; designed, wrote, and produced the awards program, certificates, and project posters; and designed and facilitated the fabrication of award trophies and t-shirts. We also developed a comprehensive projects overview video and a professionally produced ceremony video. Click here to watch the video.

We are excited to have partnered with the Monterey County Workforce Development Board to unveil their new outreach campaign, Monterey County Works!
"We are excited to unveil our new Monterey County Works initiative, which reflects our ongoing commitment to providing innovative workforce solutions to the communities we serve," said Chris Donnelly, Executive Director.
The Monterey County Works campaign includes a new visual identity, including a new logo that features a modern, bold design, along with all new print pieces and signage. Along with the new visual identity, PDDG built the organization a new website, MontereyCountyWorks.com, that provides easy access to valuable resources for job seekers, employers, and community partners. The website features a modern design, intuitive navigation, and updated content that reflects the organization's commitment to excellence.
The new Monterey County Works brand will serve as the consistent visual identifier for the Monterey County Workforce Development Board’s job seeker and employer services as it relates to all touchpoints across workforce services communications, marketing, advertising, and outreach.

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED), with more than 500 members, is the leading statewide advocate for economic development in Arizona. AAED has been a client partner of PDDG since early 2021. Additionally, George Dimotakis, our President & CEO, is a proud member of AAED.
We are very excited to share the new website experience for AAED. This website represents an enhanced, improved user experience for AAED current and prospective members, elevates AAED’s image throughout the state, and better represents the important work AAED is facilitating across rural, suburban, and urban interests in the development of key sectors throughout the state.
We were fortunate to work alongside an exceptional AAED Board and staff in the creation of this new website. Additionally, we wish to extend our sincerest appreciation to Amanda Elliott, with the Town of Gilbert, and Meg Zemlicka with the City of Tempe, as these two individuals were instrumental in the successful deployment of the new AAED website.
