PDDG Design Notes – October 2022

Fall is here! October officially kicks off the time of the year when the cool air sets in, dried crimson leaves rustle on your lawn, and houses become decorated for all the upcoming holidays in anticipation of celebration. We have a lot to celebrate this month as we announce another expansion, prepare to attend events that support causes near and dear to our hearts, and complete some big projects that our clients are excited to debut!

HIGHER EDUCATION

California State University, Sacramento has been a longtime client of PDDG, going all the way back to the early 1980’s. Most recently, we completed the design development of the CSU Student Success Network 2021-22 Annual Report which built upon the theme of “Working Together for Equity in the CSU.” The Annual Report also celebrates the five-year anniversary of the CSU Student Success Network.

Our creative team developed the design concept and pulled together an assortment of imagery from the entire CSU system to craft a highly visual aesthetic. The report was finalized and publicly launched earlier this month. Click here to view the Annual Report.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

The City of Kingman, a client partner of PDDG for the past two years, enlisted our creative team to design and produce a comprehensive multi-page brochure for the City’s Façade Improvement Program. Started in 2020, the program encourages beautification of commercial buildings.

The brochure provides an overview of the program, eligibility requirements, allowed improvements, application requirements, and shared examples of businesses who have successfully participated in the program.

GOVERNMENT

Since 2019, we have partnered with the Town of Queen Creek, Arizona, on a variety of economic development and tourism marketing assignments, including website design, graphic design, collateral, signage, and advertising.

Our creative team recently completed the design and production of the Town’s 2022-27 Corporate Strategic Plan, an important publication that attempts to encompass a five-year organizational plan of action in one document. The document translates the Town’s mission, vision, and value statements into actionable goals.

PDDG Continues Support of NAWDP

PDDG is pleased to continue our support of the National Association of Workforce Development Professional (NAWDP) and will be exhibiting at the 2022 Youth Development Symposium in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 14-16. PDDG Expands Into Arkansas

We are pleased to welcome Western Arkansas Works (WAW) to the PDDG Family. WAW is committed to assisting employers and those seeking employment throughout Western Arkansas. We will be working with WAW on a high-level review of their website and social media outreach.
