-ISSUE 045-

Welcome to the spooky season! We can feel the chill in the air and the excitement building for Halloween. We’ve been quite a bit busy this past month, but we have still had a hauntingly good time working on all our client projects.

Get ready to be scared silly with our collection of spine-tingling stories and legends and all the haunted (ok, not really haunted) places we’ll be visiting for upcoming events!

Have a safe and boo-tiful Halloween!

TOURISM

The Town of Gilbert, a valued longtime client partner of PDDG, recently enlisted our creative team to develop some high-impact signage at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. This new advertising effort supports Discover Gilbert, the Town’s tourism marketing program, and brings additional attention to Gilbert’s many available outdoor activities and inviting downtown Heritage District. We previously developed the Discover Gilbert branding and have supported its marketing and outreach for many years.

If you happen to fly through the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport, be sure to check out the posters near the baggage claim area.

Fun facts: The Town of Gilbert was once known as the “Hay Shipping Capital of the World” and is still the largest town in America according to the U.S. Census Bureau.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

The City of Suffolk, Virginia has been a wonderful part of the PDDG Family since 2018. Over the past 5+ years, we have supported the city’s marketing and outreach for economic development, tourism, and public safety.

Most recently, YesSuffolk, the city’s economic development program, invited us to develop a robust tradeshow/exhibit set, complete with large pull-up banners, tabletop signage, and a table cover. Our creative team worked closely with the YesSuffolk team to develop engaging graphics and copy to best promote the city’s many locational assets for businesses looking to expand or relocate.

COMMUNITY SERVICES

Over the past two years, we have proudly partnered with the Town of Holly Springs, a growing biomanufacturing hub just outside Raleigh, North Carolina, on a series of design and public outreach deliverables.

Most recently, the Town recruited our creative team to develop impactful graphics for their new yard waste vehicles. The graphics and messaging are intended to be informative and engaging. We developed graphics for the sides and backs of five different vehicle types.
