-ISSUE 044-

Fall is all about embracing the cozy vibes of the season. The very second the clock struck 12:01 on September 23rd, we pulled out our Uggs, our oversized sweaters, and our oversized hats. We were the first in line to order our Pumpkin Spice Lattes on our way to Target to casually browse all the fall-themed decor.

OK, maybe George isn’t decked out in Uggs and leggings, but we all fully embrace all things Fall. And the latte fueled projects we’ve been working on are anything but basic. Read on for some of the fun campaigns, from Parks & Rec guides to municipal five-year strategic plans! And, if we are lucky enough to see you at one of the upcoming conferences, grab one of our light-up pens! We hear they are great for midnight apple picking.

PARKS & RECREATION

As we kick off year seven of working with our friends at the City of Santee, we’re excited to unveil the refreshed and redesigned look and feel for the City’s Parks and Recreation publications. Starting with the Fall 2023 season, the seasonal guide and brochure have a fresh look and feel, including a vibrant color palette and updated graphical elements.

Our creative team has successfully completed nearly 120 projects, including numerous campaign logos, signs, collateral, and graphical/map representations.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Over the past 15 months, the PDDG creative team has worked closely with Western Illinois Works on a wide range of marketing tasks, including communications strategy and planning, website design, social media management, digital advertising, and collateral design.

Western Illinois Works, via a network of partner organizations, provides workforce development services to job seekers and employers throughout the nine-county region of Western Illinois.

Most recently, we developed an Employer Resources Guide, a comprehensive publication providing an overview of available programs and services for employee recruitment, training, and apprenticeships.

MUNICIPAL

For the past five years, the Town of Queen Creek, Arizona has been a valued PDDG client partner. Our creative team has produced nearly 50 projects for economic development, tourism, fire and medical, police, and town-wide outreach and communications.

We recently completed the design of the Town’s 2023-2028 Corporate Strategic Plan, a robust document outlining a five-year organizational plan of action that translates Queen Creek’s mission, vision, and values statements into actionable goals. It also provides the public with a source of reference for information about government activities.
