Fantastic! This is my one word synopsis of the recently concluded PDMA Annual Conference in Chicago. We had strong attendance, four days packed full of knowledge-building sessions, and networking... along with some dodgy weather. By the way, this is a nice segue to let you know that we are going to Orlando next year!

Congratulations to
Sebastian Gurtner and Haisu Zhang for their very good work in organizing and running the JPIM Research Forum over the two days running up to the start of the conference. Congratulations, too, to all of the Research Forum award winners including the latest Crawford Fellow,
Gina O'Connor (pictured 2nd from left), only the sixth person to receive this prestigious award.
|
The conference kicked off Monday in gold medal fashion with a fun, informational, and inspirational keynote from "Miracle on Ice" goalie Jim Craig; it set a positive tone for the two days of plenaries, breakouts, and activities that followed.
Thank you and congratulations to Conference Chair Ernie Harris and the whole committee for all of their hard work, care, and creativity in putting this event together! Thank you to all who attended and contributed conversations.
