Seasoned product development experts will provide a brief overview of ethnographic tools and methods. Then, attendees will break out into smaller groups to work on a challenging exercise in ethnography. They will work together to sort through information/observations using tools that will be introduced during the workshop. They will collaborate to align on key insights and will prepare problem statements and value propositions.

This workshop is the first in a series of Product Development Fundamentals "Back to Basics" Workshops and Innovation Forums that PDMA Pittsburgh is hosting this year. Other series topics include concept creation and prototyping.

Have you checked it out?

PDMA recently launched our kHUB "Knowledge Hub".  It cuts through the "noise" of internet advertising and self-promotion common on many social channels.  It is full of relevant and organized content, and facilitates meaningful  discussion.

PDMA kHUB is a searchable online content resource system, structured around the seven sections of the PDMA Body of Knowledge . It is where our global PDMA community of passionate product development and management professionals can access the collective and comprehensive body of knowledge, wisdom, tools, and resources in an engaging, collaborative and expandable online magazine content hub format. This will be an ever-growing and maturing resource.

Last year's Competitive Edge conference attendees told us it is difficult and challenging to find current and reputable sources of information.  PDMA kHUB is a solution and we hope you find value in it. We invite you to search, explore, start or participate in a discussion and submit content!

Best regards,
