New PDMA Website Coming
PDMA is finalizing the transition of our website to new platforms on Monday, March 26. You will receive an overview email when the transfer is complete, this communication will include a new password to log in. We are excited about new functionality and usability including a new community platform, a year-round mobile app and the website will be mobile-responsive.
From PDMA Headquarters
Your new staff has had the pleasure of getting to know and working with volunteer leadership since starting with PDMA January 1. In addition to taking over and managing regular operational activities like answering phones, processing membership applications, managing the certification process and financial accounting we have jumped in on conference planning for 2018 and have begun work on some special projects. What's coming? On Monday we will roll out a new website/database platform. This migration was needed because the company behind the current system was bought and the new company decided not to support the platform, so it is being phased out. There were plenty of opportunities to improve the functionality and content organization of the site anyway so the timing is good. We will be sending an email to all members upon launch with login and use instructions. We are also focusing with leadership on increased service to chapter and improving the member experience with PDMA.

Given that we have an active chapter here in Minnesota we have had the opportunity to meet with and learn from Chapter leaders about their needs as a chapter in addition to information we get via email and phone from other chapter leaders. On March 14 staff hosted a delegation from the Minnesota Chapter at PDMA headquarters for introductions and discussion.

Staff then attended the chapter's meeting that evening. We also attended a chapter event in January. These have been great opportunities to see a chapter in action and meet and talk with many members in person.
