Dear PDS Stakeholders & Partners:
Based on Sharmili Reddy’s acceptance of the City Manager position for the City of Covington, I am pleased to share that the PDS Management Board last night unanimously approved the appointment of Josh Wice as PDS’s next Executive Director, beginning August 4. Josh has been a key member of the PDS team for four years and helped establish the community development program, which I know has benefited many of your communities. In addition to leading community development, Josh was recently promoted to Deputy Executive Director, reflecting the additional responsibilities he has taken on over the years, including PDS communications and serving as Acting Executive Director when needed.
Before joining PDS, Josh served as City Administrator and Economic and Community Development Director for the City of Florence, the second-largest city in Northern Kentucky, and held a senior strategic role at REDI Cincinnati, where he contributed to major economic development projects. His unique perspective, shaped by both regional economic development and local government leadership, along with extensive experience in planning and zoning, will be invaluable as he assumes this new role.
As many of you know, Josh grew up in Kenton County and is very engaged in our community beyond his work. He was raised in Edgewood and has resided in Erlanger for the last 15 years. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University and Thomas More University.
Over the past few years, the PDS Management Board and staff leadership have emphasized leadership development and succession planning, and Josh’s appointment proudly reflects that commitment. His extensive experience in organizational leadership, along with a deep passion for Kenton County, makes him highly suited to lead PDS into the future.
Please join me in congratulating Josh on this well-earned promotion.
Sincerely,
Chris Reinersman
Mayor, City of Independence
Chair, PDS Management Board
