Educators and youth programs today have access to more data than ever before. The real challenge is turning that information into meaningful action that supports students’ growth, resilience, and well-being. At PEAR, we’re focused on helping schools and youth-serving organizations bridge that gap.

This month we’re sharing opportunities to deepen your practice, from conversations about using “living data,” to a new resource designed to help educators translate student insights into classroom strategies.

Here’s what’s happening at PEAR.

Resilience Roundtable: Data Into Action

March 24th, 2026 | 3:00pm-4:00pm ET

Having data isn’t the challenge anymore. Turning it into meaningful action is.

Join us for an interactive roundtable where we will explore how organizations can move beyond data collection to real understanding and action.

In this conversation we’ll discuss:

  • Barriers to collecting and using “living data”
  • How data systems can center the needs of practitioners and decision-makers
  • Strategies for translating information into insight and practical change

We hope you’ll join us for this thoughtful discussion.

Why Being Outside Changes Everything

March 25th | 12:00pm-1:00pm ET

PEAR’s Senior Consultant, Dawn McDaniel, will join Outward Bound USA and Nature Bridge to discuss how outdoor learning experiences influence confidence, belonging, and well-being, including perspectives informed by PEAR data.

Dimensions of Success Observer Certification

Live Training on April 16th, 2026 | 10:00am - 4:00pm ET

The Dimensions of Success (DoS) tools help programs measure and strengthen the quality of STEM learning experiences. Our certification course prepares practitioners, researchers, and evaluators to reliably observe and assess STEM learning environments.

Participants will learn the DoS framework, practice calibration using real observation scenarios, and conduct field observations to build confidence using the tool.

If your organization is working to improve STEM program quality, this certification provides a powerful foundation.

HSA Action Reports

Many schools collect valuable data about students’ social and emotional development, but translating those insights into classroom practice can be challenging.

PEAR’s new HSA Action Reports are designed to bridge that gap.

These reports transform Holistic Student Assessment (HSA) data into clear, actionable guidance for educators. Organized by grade level and grounded in the Clover Model of youth development, they highlight student strengths while providing practical strategies to support areas of challenge.

The goal is simple: help educators move quickly from insight to action.

With HSA Action Reports, schools receive:

  • An executive summary highlighting key findings and strategies
  • Clear breakdowns of student strengths and areas for growth
  • Developmentally aligned Clover Model insights
  • Opportunities for school and classroom improvement
  • Concrete activities educators can implement immediately

If your team is looking for ways to turn student data into meaningful classroom support, we’d love to share more.

What's Included in the Report

  • Executive summary of findings and strategies
  • Breakdown of top strengths and challenges
  • Synopsis of Clover Model leaves relevant to ages/grades of students being surveyed
  • Overview of student challenges and opportunities for change
  • Recommended activities that can be implemented in the classroom

Reflection & Belonging

When people work together—whether students collaborating on a project or educators planning instruction—it’s common to finish the task and move quickly on to the next thing.

Taking even a few minutes to reflect together can make a meaningful difference.

Reflection might include discussing what went well, identifying what didn’t go as planned, sharing how participants experienced the process, or acknowledging contributions that helped the group succeed.

These small moments of shared reflection help people feel heard, appreciated, and more connected. Over time, they can strengthen collaboration and deepen a sense of belonging.
