When State ORP accounts migrated from the MassMutual recordkeeping platform to the Empower platform in September 2022, some participants were assigned multiple account IDs. Participants most likely have multiple account IDs because they were employed by more than one State ORP participating employer prior to the migration to the Empower platform, and participation under each employer was recorded under a separate account ID on the MassMutual platform.
As a reminder, Empower is consolidating the accounts into a single primary account beginning July 26, 2023. Please refer to the July 11 PEBA Update for more information.
