Basketball is Back at the Rochester Opera House

The Rochester Opera House has a long history of supporting the arts in Rochester. But there was a time when the Opera House also supported athletics, by hosting basketball games on its unique floor system. Join them for a night of basketball to commemorate and celebrate the rich tradition of basketball in Rochester. Drive-Thru Rabies & Microchip Clinic

Pope Memorial Humane Society is offering a drive-thru rabies vaccine and microchip clinic for dogs and cats over 12 weeks old. For your pet to receive a 3 year vaccination, you must present their current, up to date, rabies certificate. Town licenses and tags are not acceptable. 3 year vaccinations are at the discretion of the veterinarian. 1 year vaccines will be given if no prior history. Rabies vaccine are $20 and microchips are $20.

23rd Annual Poetry Contest

The Dover Public Library is pleased to announce the 23rd Annual Dover Public Library Poetry contest for seacoast area residents ages 5 and up. Prizes will be awarded in seven different categories: Grades K-2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 &12, and adults ages 18 & older. Poems will be judged on originality, style, and creativity.
