Start 2025 with a bang with Full-Autos, Belt-feds, and Roadkill from Greg and the Morning Buzz at White Birch Armory. We're bringing out the big guns for this one, so don't miss your chance to get behind some historical pieces that only come out for this event. McConnell Center Tour

January 4, 7, 8, 9, various times


Due to renovations, the Dover Public Library has temporarily relocated to the McConnell Center for 2025. Take the chance to familiarize yourself with the space ahead of the February 3 grand opening on one of these tours offered by the library. Tours will meet at the Adult Service desk. Luminescent- Pastels or Mixed Media Course

Four-week course begins on Monday, January 6, 12-2pm


Join Aplomb Gallery in person (limited spots available) or virtually, for a four-week course focused on drawing references featuring a dramatic light source. Fire: Pilates (Free Community Class

Fire combines Pilates with strength training for a fun and challenging workout. Class will begin with mat-based Pilates exercises to challenge and strengthen your glutes, abs, inner thighs and hips before moving into low-impact weight training sequences designed to improve balance, stability, coordination and strength. Exploring Our Way: Sensory Friendly Playtime

Tuesday, January 7, 1-3pm


Exploring Our Way are free low-sensory events designed for children with autism spectrum or sensory processing disorders to allow them to explore the Museum along with their families without the noise, crowds, and stimulation of a typical open day. We limit the number of families who can attend, turn down sounds and lights, provide a quiet zone with sensory activities away from the exhibit floor, and have noise-canceling headphones to borrow. Exhibition on Screen - Van Gogh: Poets & Lovers

The Music Hall presents a film that delves into the heart of Van Gogh’s biography, bringing audiences an intimate view of the artist and revealed uniquely through his letters and in his own words. Focusing on his unique creative process, Van Gogh: Poets & Lovers explores the artist’s years in the south of France, where he revolutionized his style. Outside Mullingar

Garrison Players Art Center presents the play Outside Mullingar, written by John Patrick Shanley. Anthony Rielly and Rosemary Muldoon have grown up next to each other on two farms in rural Ireland. Their journey is heartbreaking, funny as hell, and ultimately deeply moving. The Machine Performs Pink Floyd

The Machine is coming to the Rochester Opera House. The Machine has forged a 30+ year reputation of extending the musical legacy of Pink Floyd. Zebra Crossings on Ice Saturday, January 11, 8-10am


Youth with chronic health conditions and their families are invited to join Zebra Crossings at historic Strawbery Banke for a morning of ice skating and community. Overlooking Portsmouth Harbor, the outdoor rink is family friendly and provides adaptive skate equipment, so everyone can enjoy the ice. There is even a fire pit to warm cold fingers and toes.

Seacoast Eat Local operates Winter Farmers Markets in two locations in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire: Stratham and Rollinsford. All of our vendors make, grow, harvest, catch, or craft 100% of the products they sell at the market.
