Night at the Museum 2025

Friday, October 10 and Saturday, October 11, 4:30-9:30pm


Join the Woodman Museum this October for a family-friendly evening and educational tour of the museum and meet the people from the past whose artifacts call the museum home. Guests will be guided to scenes throughout the museum and its grounds. One part ghost tour, one part museum tour, all around fun.

Join Dover Pottery Studio for an afternoon of pottery-making and hard cider, hosted in partnership with North Country Hard Cider. Come create a beautiful handcrafted Halloween Luminary while enjoying delicious cider in a friendly and creative atmosphere. Hypertufa Birdbath Workshop

Sunday, October 12, 10-11am


Make your own hypertufa birdbath/garden sculpture at Wentworth Greenhouses.  Using a large leaf as a mold and a mix of concrete/peat/perlite, we will make a small birdbath that you can paint at home or leave natural. You may get messy. Birdbaths may be left to cure in greenhouse for up to one week. Learn more.

Free Halloween Costume Event Presented by S.C.A.R.E. NH

The non-profit Gundalow Company's annual end of season celebration and fundraiser. This year's event at the One Hundred Club will be an evening to celebrate the educational programs, camps, community outreach sails and public sails of the 2025 season while raising funds necessary to continuing these programs in support of our mission. The evening will include a welcome by Gundalow Company Executive Director Rich Clyborne, raffle, a "Giving Gundalow" for fulfilling Gundalow Co. wishes and delicious hors d'oeuvres and fantastic beverages. Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

Saturday, October 18, 9am-12pm and 1-4pm


Visit the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire for a Halloween event that focuses on fun—not fright. Kids and adults are encouraged to come in costume to explore the exhibits. Check out some fantastical science experiments, create take-home crafts, pose for pictures with fun props in front of a full moon backdrop, and try out the pumpkin scavenger hunt to receive an extra-special prize at the end of your visit. This play is a farcical comedy set in a hospital where Dr. Mortimore tries to deliver a lecture while fending off a paternity suit, an ex-wife, a daughter, and other characters, all while navigating the chaos of mistaken identities and running through doors. Set during the shadowy reign of Queen Anne, this gothic horror-romance follows Gwynplaine, the most famous clown in England. His acrobatic talents and broad, omnipresent grin delight peasants and noblemen alike. But this clown can never remove his makeup. His crowd-pleasing grin is a curse, carved into his face when he was a child at the behest of a cruel, vindictive king. When a beautiful duchess attends his show, a secret from Gwynpalin’s past is revealed, a secret that threatens to destroy everything he has built, and everyone he holds dear. Granite United Way, Monadnock United Way, United Way of Greater Nashua, and community partners are uniting to ensure our neighbors have the warmth they need this season. Drop off your coat at The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce at 550 Central Avenue in Dover.
