Remember and honor 9/11 by participating in the United Way Day of Service at the Joe Parks Riverwalk Public Gardens.

Join community members, Strafford County Master Gardeners, and other volunteers to prune, paint, plant, and perform general maintenance in this public garden in the heart of Dover, NH. Snacks and lunch will be provided. Wear gardening clothing, closed-toed shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and bring tools if you have them. Learn more.

Seacoast Cancer 5k

The 12th Annual Seacoast Cancer 5K Run/Walk is one of the largest road races in New Hampshire. Event proceeds provide life-saving care and benefit local patients, families and staff at the Mass General Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. This race can be completed in-person in Portsmouth or virtually. This event is rain or shine.

GSIL will be hosting its 11th Annual Chipping in FORE! Independence golf tournament at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown, NH. Join them as they hit the greens to raise some green to benefit people with disabilities throughout New Hampshire. Gundalow Co. Presents Dr. Meghan Howey: The Shock of Colonialism in New England

Ozzy Tribute

Join The Strand as they pay tribute to the legendary Godfather of heavy metal. Musicians from across the seacoast join together to honor the life and legacy of Ozzy Osbourne by playing some of the greatest hits by Ozzy and Black Sabbath. All proceeds will be donated to the American Parkinson’s Disease Association.

Throughout the event, there will be Raffles, mixed media performances, and a special farewell video tribute to Ozzy.

Waiting for Godot

Samuel Beckett’s iconic and unexpectedly hilarious Waiting for Godot opens the Players’ Ring Theatre’s 2025-26 Mainstage Theatre. Directed by Bretton Reis, who also plays one of the main characters, the play brings bold new staging, drawing out its wit and deep humanity.

Seacoast Eat Local is excited to announce our new location in a large parking lot behind Dover Ice Arena. In partnership with the City of Dover Recreation Department, our goal is to have more crossover with existing city programs to make the market more widely accessible.

Soft Plastic Collection



Great Bay Services is collecting soft plastic to earn a Trex Bench for their grounds. They currently have to collect 76 more pounds. Soft plastics can be dropped off at the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce at 550 Central Avenue, Dover. Learn more about Great Bay Services.
