40th Annual Apple Harvest Day

Apple Harvest Day is a day-long family event, featuring over 300 vendors, great food, live entertainment, and more. The event was first held in 1985 and now draws more than 60,000 people to downtown Dover, making it one of the most popular regional festivals.

Reach for the Top's 10th Anniversary Art Auction

Thursday, September 26, 5-8pm


Reach for the Top is hosting an exciting event celebrating the 10 year anniversary of providing therapy to children: An art auction featuring work by the children themselves, using art as a therapeutic tool - and allowing them to become citizens of the community and represented artists. We will have local artists from all over the seacoast represented, including host Susan Hanna, with art for sale, raffles, music, appetizers, and a cash bar. Get tickets.

Broadway Junior Revue: "Pure Imagination"

Garrison Players Art Center presents a brand-new revue featuring songs from across MTI's Broadway Junior collection, including everything from Seussical and Shrek The Musical to Disney favorites like Beauty and the Beast and Frozen. GFWC National Day of Service

Every year, the General Federation of Women's Club (GFWC) holds a National Day of Service and a Food Drive here in the Dover area. All donations collected will be split between the Dover Food Pantry and End 68 Hours of Hunger-Dover. Craft Beer Tasting Event at Czar's Brewery

Feud Gone Wild

The organization will also be accepting donations at this event. Citizen's Leadership Academy

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and the City of Dover partner to offer local residents a closer look at their community through the Dover Citizens Leadership Academy. This program will increase citizens' knowledge of the Dover community and introduce them to opportunities to become more involved as active leaders in the community.


The Citizens Leadership Academy will feature discussions about local government and municipal operations and will introduce Dover citizens to opportunities to engage in shaping the future of our city by volunteering to join with others and participate as a member of one of many city boards, commissions and civic organizations.
