PEEK at the Week: October 15
PEEK into the PAST: Click on the image above to see a promotion for the 7th Annual Apple Harvest Day that ran in a 'Welcome to Dover' section in Foster's in June of 1991. Also pictured is the group of Chamber Ambassadors in 1991.

Speaking on Apple Harvest Day, the article stated, "The day-long gathering is designed to celebrate the coming of autumn, the produce of the fields, the handiworks of craftsmen and women and the fruits of Dover businesses and services." Although Apple Harvest Day had to be altered this year, there are still vendors selling their handy work and fruits of Dover businesses on display at

Peek into the Past is a special section running in PEEK this year to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Chamber.
