Northeastern Ballet Theatre
fall classes start September 8

Northeastern Ballet Theatre (NBT) offers both in their Dover (in the McConnell Center) and Wolfeboro (26 Glendon Street) studios and the fall schedule for classes begins on September 8.

Many of us have documents to discard after our COVID clean out but nowhere to dispose of them. Let the Rotary Club of Dover help you! Bring your documents to Dover High School on September 26! Volunteers will be available to unload from your vehicle. This will be a secure shredding event. All the shredded material is 100% recycled back into the stream of commerce. Suggested donations are $5 per bag or $10 per box.

Take to the green to raise funds for the childcare programs of Community Action Partnership of Strafford County (CAPSC). The 19th Annual CAPSC Classic in honor of Jane Cooper Fall & Barbara Spear is ON and this year CAPSC is thrilled to be hosting the event at Cochecho Country Club in Dover.

2020 Citizens Leadership Academy

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and the City of Dover partner to offer local residents a closer look at their community through the Dover Citizens Leadership Academy. This year's program will be limited to 10 attendees (with a waitlist) to ensure social distancing. Masks will be required to be worn by all attendees throughout each session.

Children's Museum of NH to Reopen in September

The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire is excited to announce its reopening to the public in September after a nearly six-month closure due to COVID-19. “During this unprecedented time of stress and hardship, we hope that reopening the Museum brings joy and a hint of normalcy to the lives of children, families and the community,” said Jane Bard, Museum President. 

Seacoast Cancer 5K goes virtual

In order to protect the health and safety of those in the community during these extraordinary times, the Seacoast Cancer 5K, originally scheduled for Sunday, September 20, is going virtual. This year, the event will be an “Anytime 5K” that will take place virtually over two weeks in September.

Historic Walking Tours: Summer 2020

To schedule a tour, call the chamber at 603-742-2218 or email The fee for the walking tours is $10 per person, with a $25 limit for families.
Group size will be limited to no more than 10 and participants will be required to wear masks. Participants will also be encouraged to bring their own water, wear comfortable shoes, and wear a head covering. Tours run about 90 minutes long.
