Greetings Peter Hobart Families, 

We are moving into March next week, and this school year is just flying by! We are already starting to look ahead to next year, with information available for Summer Kids Place, and Kindergarten registration. But, there are still many great things to come at Peter Hobart before the year is done. Next week we have our Imagination Fair put on by the PTO, Aladdin preparations are in full swing, and much more!

You are invited to join our Peter Hobart Elementary School Community at our Black History Month Assembly! It will take place today, Thursday, February 27th at 1:00-1:45 pm in the school gym.

Elders Wisdom Children’s Song

Talent Development, Music and our 4th Grade Students are honored to bring to you their 2025 Elders Wisdom Children’s Song (EWCS) performance, honoring the following Elders:

Through storytelling, song and spoken work, EWCS incorporates the tools of community organizing, education, and celebration. At the heart, is an educational process called collective songwriting. EWCS combines collections of oral history, or oral literature, with the teaching of songwriting and poetry. Inspired by the life story of the elder, a song or spoken word piece is written and performed by the class, for the community.  

Peter Hobart’s performance will be Wednesday, March 12th, 6:30 PM at the St. Louis Park Middle School Performing Arts Theatre. Please mark your calendars and save the date for this amazing performance. ~ Renee Robinson, 3-5 Talent Development Specialist

Children’s Dental Services at Peter Hobart

Children’s Dental Services (CDS) provides dental care to students at school which may include exams, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatment, sealants, silver diamine fluoride (SDF), fillings, crowns, extractions and other treatments as needed during regular school hours.

If you would like your child to receive dental care at school, complete the consent form that was sent home with you child, and return it, as soon as possible. If you need a consent form, ask your child’s teacher or contact the health office at 952-928-6605.
