2025 Spring Orchestra/Band Concerts

We are wrapping up a stellar year of music education at Peter Hobart, culminating in the Band and Orchestra Concert that happened on May 7th. We have a recording from ParkTV for those who were not able to attend.

Thank you for your ongoing support and appreciation of the work Mr. Binger and Ms. Brummel-Culver do everyday. We am grateful to be a part of a community that recognizes that music is a core part of all subjects, and that musical experiences are crucial for our young learners' holistic (elementary) education.

Enjoy the concert!

Join us tomorrow, May 23rd @1pm in the PH Gym to celebrate Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month with an all school assembly!

End-of-Year Medication Notice

Student medications, with the exception of controlled substances, will be sent home during the last week of school. Health Services will package medications and supplies and send them home in student backpacks, unless alternative arrangements are made with the health office. Once the medication is received at home, please remove it from your child’s backpack and store it safely.

  • Infrequently used medications will be sent home during the final five days of school, following any scheduled off-campus activities.
  • Frequently used medications, EpiPens, and inhalers, will be sent home on the last day of school.
  • Controlled substances (such as methylphenidate, Ritalin, Adderall, diazepam, etc.) will not be sent home with students. These medications must be picked up in person by a parent or guardian. If you are unable to do so, please contact the health office to make alternative arrangements.

Scam Robo Calls Targeting Families

We want to make you aware of a concerning scam targeting multilingual families in our community and across the country. We believe that these calls are not isolated to St. Louis Park Public Schools, and to our knowledge, it is not related to any of our data or technology services.

Some families have reported receiving alarming automated phone calls falsely claiming that their child is being held for ransom. These messages are fraudulent and intended to cause fear and confusion.

Please be assured: your child is safe and accounted for at school. If there were ever a real emergency involving your student, you would be contacted directly by a school staff member or administrator.

We are working closely with local law enforcement to monitor the situation and protect the safety and well-being of our students and families. If you receive one of these calls:

  • Do not engage with the caller.
  • Do not provide any personal or financial information.
  • Report the call to the police and notify your child’s school.

Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our community safe.
