A Message From Our President & CEO
PF! looks forward to hosting the 2020 Coalition Academy. This year’s conference will be a two day virtual event on September 29th and 30th.

We invite coalitions, community leaders, public health professionals, behavioral health specialists, and social workers to learn about prevention.

Our team has worked tirelessly to coordinate 16 workshops for you to attend. One positive thing about being virtual is you can attend twice as many sessions and not be in a freezing cold conference room - now that is exciting!

This year’s keynote, Dr. Kelly Blankenship of Dayton Children’s Hospital, will discuss prevention and resiliency during the pandemic. Her message will teach us how to combat substance use, suicide, and mental health within communities.

We appreciate our state and local funders, Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board who are providing this event at no cost to you.

Prevention & Resiliency: Addressing substance use, suicide, & mental health during the COVID-19 pandemic
September 29th, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Kelly Blankenship, DO
Chief of Psychiatry

The pandemic has brought to the forefront concerns that prevention and public health professionals have known for years - that behavioral health prevention is paramount for youth as they grow into young adults. Prevention is at a pivotal point to advance social and emotional health strategies. As professionals we have the opportunity to share the scientific evidence, and proven strategies we know about the connection between substance use/misuse prevention, suicide prevention and mental wellness with parents, youth, and communities.

Dr. Kelly Blankenship from Dayton Children's Hospital is this year's PF! Coalition Academy keynote speaker. She will speak to how we can address substance use, suicide and mental health as one collective issue during this pandemic.
