About the Event:

On Sunday, September 24, there will be a mandatory safety seminar from 1:00 to 4:00pm at Fox Township Sportsmen's Club in Kersey, PA. This session will focus on gun and dog safety and feature demonstrations about how to hunt pheasants safely. Hunters will demonstrate their abilities to safely handle a firearm that they will use on the hunt. This youth pheasant hunt takes place on SGL 44 near Brockport on Oct. 7th.

Evie attends Wildlife Leadership Academy

How many people can say they stood ten feet away from a live, 315-pound Black bear?

Thanks to Wildlife Leadership Academy, I can proudly share that I have! At Wildlife Leadership

Academy, they are dedicated to educating

the next generation of habitat caretakers.

WLA hosts five different camps, every

one focused on a different animal. From

Gobblers, Bucktails, and Bass, to Brookies

and Ursids, each camp provides insight

into the diversity of Pennsylvania wildlife.

Additionally, WLA is dedicated to

conservation, building leadership skills for

the next generation, and nature. I attended

the Ursids camp in early August of 2023.

Chapter 630 to attend Flavors of Fall - Sept. 23rd

Chapter 630 will participate in Ridgway's Flavors of Fall event on Main Street in Ridgway on September 23rd. Stop by our booth and talk to our members about Chapter 630 and the numerous activities we do in North Central PA.

We will have raffle tickets for sale for our 2 current raffles; the Christmas Hunt Raffle ($10 each) and the 2024 Winter Gun Raffle (1 for $5 or 3 for $10). If you are unable to attend, email us to purchase tickets.
