With more information than ever before, we know you’ll find the
answers to most of your questions on our website.
Dear Member, Supporter, Stakeholder,

We are extremely proud to share with you that YOUR club has been awarded a 2020 City of Pickering Civic Award under the Community Group section. This Award is recognition of the way the entire club came together over the past year to stay connected, to support each other, and to get soccer back onto the pitch! This award is shared by our entire membership; from the players and parents who jumped on webinars, completed surveys, adhered to protocols, waited in the parking lot and finally got to see their child play, to the PFC Board, staff and coaches who found themselves juggling multiple sources of COVID data, safety requirements, and member needs so that we could all return to the game safely. Everyone has played their part and while we know there may still be more challenges ahead, this Civic Award is an acknowledgment of our club efforts in a very tough time.

In this pandemic world, the Civic Award ceremony could not be held in person so sadly there was no invite to the council chambers. Instead the City opted for an online video presentation and delivered the Award and certification to the Pickering Soccer Centre. You can watch the entire Awards Ceremony HERE. Note that Mayor Ryan speaks specifically to our award at the 25:25 mark. Pickering FC continues to proudly serve our neighborhoods and will have more exciting news in the coming month, so look out!

With a reconfiguration of the registration fees based on a 7 game season (half season) we did not calculate in the cost of player pictures. With the continuing changes in the Covid climate we were uncertain if we would be able to have pictures taken. As such, we made the determination that rather than be in a position to do refunds pictures for over 1100 player that it was best to remove that line from the registration fee and avoid holding an event where at times we could have 200 plus people in one area at the same time. We hope that you understand as we also wanted to manage things in the best interests of our players and staff.
PFC would like to thank our U9 Boys GOLD Sponsor The Steam Mobile.

The Steam Mobile provides professional and reliable Automotive detailing, Commercial & Residential disinfecting services! Check them out! We are so #PFCProud to have them as one of our GOLD sponsors for 2021!

This is to remind you that our All Abilities Programs have a early start this season. We start NEXT week. Please register HERE
Elliot joined our All Abilities program 3 years ago and has been a very active part of our program and our club. As part of our new Learn to Train program, our athletes have an opportunity to earn merit badges - similar to the scouts. Over the last year, Elliot has completed 4 merit badges and is working towards his 5th. As part of this badge, Elliot is organizing a fundraiser for our All Abilities program.

We hope you will join us as we embark on a waterfront adventure from the Pickering Soccer Centre to Lynde Shores Conservation Area and back. If you cannot join us for the whole walk/roll - you can join us for just a portion! There is no fee to join us, but if you would like to assist us in canvasing donations, or would like to make a donation yourself, please click the link below:

Pickering’s City Centre is undergoing a bold transformation and the City of Pickering invites residents, business, and stakeholders to share their thoughts on the proposed spaces and user experience.

Inspired by world-renowned public spaces, the project will see an exciting array of new, state-of-the-art municipal facilities, including a Performing Arts Centre, a combined Seniors & Youth Centre, and a relocated and expanded Central Library, surrounded by a vibrant and pedestrian-friendly public square.
From now until September, members of the public can register online and share their thoughts on the features, functionalities, and user experience of one or more of the proposed facilities.
