2024 | Issue 15

As we prepare to enter 2025, we take a moment to reflect on a productive and stable year behind us.

In 2024, we kept excellent momentum in developing and growing our organization and meeting our clients' expectations.

We maintained our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, advanced from alignment to certification for ISO 20400:2017 for Sustainable Procurement, and gained two new clients in antimicrobial resistance surveillance and child mortality prevention.

We also expanded our product portfolio, upgraded our ERP system, launched a digital portal for requisition and catalog management, established new teams and units, kicked off several Operational Excellence projects, and much more.

Up to November 2024, we processed 1,690 purchase orders valued at $403 million across all clients, projects, and product types.

The value and complexity of orders increased compared to 2023. Many orders, especially for next-generation sequencing equipment and other project-based requests like medical imaging equipment and waste management systems, required intense collaboration and end-user consultation. This differentiating consultation service significantly reduced supply chain risks.

Further, we delivered 2,121 shipments comprising more than 10 million units to 86 countries.

The countries with the most PFSCM shipments received were Malawi, Uganda, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Nigeria, Benin, Mozambique, the Dominican Republic, Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon, and Tanzania.

Notable deliveries included CT scanners for Mozambique, X-ray systems for Pakistan, medical waste incinerators for the DRC, autoclaves for Senegal, condoms for the Dominican Republic, and urgent HIV and tuberculosis (TB) products to Nigeria, Laos, and Mali, among others.
