PGA of BC PROFESSIONAL SPOTLIGHT -- MARK KITTS
Head Professional, Shadow Ridge Golf Club

PGA of Canada member since: 2011

What career path led you to where you are today?
Didn't make it as a professional hockey player and went to college after. Made it on the college golf team and fell in love with the game again.

Why did you become a PGA of Canada Professional?
Coming from the PGA Tour Canada, I wanted to continue a career in the golf industry.

At which golf facility did you first begin working within the industry, and who was the PGA Professional?
I started with Cleveland Golf Srixon Canada under PGA of BC Professional Dan Dodman. But I would say my true first facility was Quilchena Golf & Country Club, where Victor Vianzon was my Head Professional.

What is your most cherished golf memory?
Winning the Pro-Assistant Championship with James Presnail in a playoff at Black Mountain Golf Club in 2018.
