PGA of BC PARTNERS WITH 52° NORTH BEVERAGES

EARLY REGISTRATION STILL AVAILABLE FOR TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
We're about a month away from the kick-off to the PGA of BC's 2019 tournament schedule, but time is running out to take advantage of early registration rates for the first event.

The PGA of BC Tournament of Champions presented by Tee-On Golf Systems will be held May 27 on the Ridge Course at Northview Golf & Country Club. This unique event sees Club Professionals join forces with a club champion or designated amateur from their facility to compete as two-person best-ball teams over 18 holes. Professional defending champion Matthew Palsenbarg (The Tour LAB @ Northview) and 2017 winners Lindsay Bernakevitch and Craig Doell (Victoria Golf Club) are among those expected to compete.

Event registration will remain open until May 17, but members must sign up by May 7 to receive the early registration rate. Click below for full Tournament of Champions information, including the registration link.
REGISTER FOR RBC CANADIAN OPEN REGIONAL QUALIFIER
Golf Canada will once again host a regional qualifier in British Columbia for this year's RBC Canadian Open, and interested players have just a couple of weeks left to register.

The BC regional qualifier will be held May 6 at Kings Links by the Sea. The deadline to register is May 3.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, open to professionals and amateurs with a handicap factor of 2.0 or lower.

FACT OF THE WEEK
Did you know that PGA of Canada members in good standing, their children and grandchildren are eligible to seek financial assistance for educational pursuits through PGA of Canada Foundation Scholarships? Post-secondary students engaged in full-time studies at a university, community college or other approved facility may qualify for consideration by the scholarship committee for funding of various amounts. 

Of the 10 scholarships awarded by the foundation nationwide since 2017, five were received by children of PGA of BC members.
