PGA of BC PARTNER SPOTLIGHT
CALLAWAY GOLF
Callaway Golf was founded in 1982 by the late Ely Callaway, a visionary entrepreneur who operated under a simple but profound business promise: deliver demonstrably superior, pleasingly different products and services. That philosophy turned what was originally a boutique manufacturer of high-quality wedges and putters into the world's largest maker of premium, performance golf products.
The Callaway mission and vision has remained the same; the manufacturer continues passionately pursue advanced, innovative technologies that help golfers of all abilities better enjoy the game. Under the Callaway and Odyssey brands, Callaway manufactures and sells golf clubs and golf balls, and sells golf apparel, footwear and accessories in more than 110 countries.

That vision continues to result in high-quality products earning industry accolades year after year. Just this week, Callaway announced the launch of the Big Bertha B-21 family of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons. This game-improvement series of equipment is engineered with premium technologies and the legendary Big Bertha design players know and love, providing a new formula for distance and forgiveness.

GOLF CANADA, PGA of CANADA PARTNER ON WOMEN IN COACHING PROGRAM
As Golf Canada looks to address an under-representation of female coaches on its National Teams' staffs, the national body has announced an exciting partnership with the PGA of Canada to support the growth and development of female Golf Professionals in coaching roles.

The Women in Coaching Program, introduced earlier this week, will be co-led by Women's National Team Head Coach and PGA of Canada member Tristan Mullally. This mentoring program for female Professionals will consist of four main components: a series of lectures and workshops, hands-on training with elite-level amateur players, project work, and a self-assessment and individualized learning plan.

Interested female members can apply to join the program. Successful applicants will receive a $2,500 bursary from Golf Canada to assist with expenses related to program completion.
