FACT OF THE WEEK
For the past two seasons, much of the PGA of BC's junior-golf initiatives have been suspended due to the pandemic, as protecting the health and safety of would-be youth participants in our programs was the Association's top priority. However, the administration team is cautiously optimistic that these events can safely resume in 2022.

The Jack McLaughlin Memorial Pro-Junior Championship presented by COBRA PUMA Golf is expected to return to the tournament calendar, resuming its place on the schedule in mid-to-late July. More details will be announced with the complete 2022 championship schedule release.

As well, the PGA of BC, Vancouver Canucks and other partners intend for Canucks Junior Golf Week to return in early July, building upon the momentum of a record year in 2019 that saw more than 1,200 British Columbia youth receive an introduction to our sport from PGA of BC Professionals. Watch for a formal call for facilities to serve as program hosts in March, or contact Communications & Marketing Manager Eric MacKenzie at [email protected] for more information.
