PGA OF BC CALL FOR BOARD ELECTION NOMINATIONS TO OPEN IN JANUARY

The PGA of BC reminds members that nominations for election to the Board of Directors will open in January.


Members are encouraged to nominate those professionals who demonstrate strong leadership, and who they believe can make a positive impact on the Association. Nominees will be instructed to submit a short, 200-word paragraph as part of the nomination process. Voting will take place during the final week in January. The available seats will include at least one representative from the Vancouver Island region, as well as one from the Interior/Kootenays/North region.

NOTICE OF HOLIDAY OFFICE CLOSURE

The PGA of BC office will be closed from December 16 to January 1.

Members are encouraged to register for an upcoming PGA of Canada webinar with Gregg Paterson on December 19 at 12 PM PST.


Paterson's presentation is titled "Staying BUZZED through turbulent times". There is likely a lot going on at your golf operation, no matter your role, and one of the most important things that you can control is your mentality and demeanour.

BC university and college golf teams have entered their winter breaks, and will take a hiatus before returning to competition in early 2024. We look forward to continuing our updates upon the return of competitive play.
