SPRING EDUCATION SEMINAR PRESENTED BY ESI INDUSTRIES A SUCCESS
This year's PGA of BC Spring Education Seminar presented by ESI Industries was once again a fantastic event, with 150 attendees enjoying the opportunity to hear from four outstanding speakers.

The Association's signature professional-development event wrapped up Tuesday at Tsawwassen Springs with a high-energy presentation from Glen Daman of 10th Degree Consulting Inc. and an insightful talk from PGA Professional Will Robins on his unique approach to growing instruction business through a coaching mindset. Monday's presentations from PGA Tour coach and Course Kings founder Jeff Smith and GGA Partners director George Pinches were also full of great info for all Golf Professionals and guests attending.

Each year's education programming is informed by member feedback, so all Professionals are encouraged to provide their input on this year's event . Those who did not attend are also welcome to complete the survey to detail how to facilitate their participation in future years.

Tsawwassen Springs, which hosted the Spring Education Seminar for the third consecutive year and fourth in the last five, was once again a tremendous venue for the event. The Association would like to thank host Head Professional  Danny Long  and the entire staff at the facility for their hospitality.

PGA of BC MEMBERS TAKE THE STAGE AT VANCOUVER GOLFEXPO
The Association was proud to once again be part of the Vancouver GOLFEXPO by providing lesson demonstrations and other great info for attendees at this past weekend's event on the PGA of BC Presentation Stage.

Andrew Jeffers (Eaglequest Golf Centre at Coquitlam, pictured) gave an excellent crash-course on custom club fitting on Saturday morning, while Jeff Palmer (Highland Pacific Golf) shared drills to help with making solid contact on iron shots later in the day. Sunday featured Gordon Mink (Hi-Knoll Golf Centre) with PGA of BC Business Development Manager Grant Gray giving tips in a Q&A format, while our final presentation came from Patrick Lago (Lago Golf Academy), who had great insights on maximizing power.

The PGA of BC would like to thank all of our volunteer presenters for sharing their expertise at the event.
OFFICE CLOSURE NOTICE
Please be advised that the PGA of BC Administration office will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17 in observance of BC Family Day.

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 8 a.m. PT. The next edition of E-News will be issued on Thursday, Feb. 20.

The PGA of BC wishes all members and friends a safe and happy holiday weekend.
