SPRING EDUCATION SEMINAR PRESENTED BY PXG A GREAT SUCCESS
|
Golf Professionals from across the province were treated to two outstanding days of education during the 2019 PGA of BC Spring Education Seminar presented by
PXG
, which wrapped up Tuesday after six great presentations from some of the top minds in the industry.
Despite huge accumulations of snow in the Lower Mainland during and prior to the seminar, approximately 180 Association members and guests were on hand at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Course to further their professional development.
The PGA of BC would like to thank all of this year's featured speakers --

JONATHAN KADIN NAMED PGA of BC PRESIDENT
|
The PGA of BC Board of Directors is pleased to name Jonathan Kadin as the 40th President of the Association.
Kadin, a Kelowna resident working as a Sales Representative for Nielsen Agencies, was selected by the board for the role following four years in the capacity of Vice-President and six years as a board member overall.
Kadin succeeds The Rise Golf Course Head Professional
Chad Scott
, who had assumed the position in 2017. Scott will remain on the PGA of BC Board as Past President.
Also appointed as Association Executives are
Alan Palmer
(Head Professional, Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club), who will serve as Vice President of Finance, and
Adam Blair
(Head Professional, Talking Rock Golf Course), who was named Vice President of Administration.
The inductions of the PGA of BC Executives, as well as the six Directors elected to the Board last month, became effective during the 2019 PGA of BC Annual General Meeting held Monday at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Course.

EDUCATION SERIES EVENTS UPCOMING IN VICTORIA, KELOWNA
|
The PGA of BC Education Series presented by Foresight Sports Canada is set to resume in the near future, with two events scheduled in the next three weeks featuring a variety of great presentations.
The first event is slated for Victoria Golf Club on Tuesday, Feb. 26, followed by another gathering on March 5 at Gallagher's Canyon Golf & Country Club.

Registration for the Victoria event will close on Feb. 21, while members have until Feb. 28 to sign up for the Kelowna event.

Canucks Junior Golf Week presented by Odlum Brown Limited has helped introduce more than 3,500 British Columbia youth to our sport since the program was established in 2014. We are pleased for this program to return in 2019, running July 2-9.
