APPLY NOW TO JOIN PGA of CANADA; PGA of BC PAT SCHEDULE COMING SOON
Individuals interested in becoming a PGA of BC Professional are encouraged to submit their application to the PGA of Canada and begin thinking ahead to participating in a 2020 Playing Ability Test (PAT).

The PGA of Canada has made significant changes to the PAT process for 2020. This includes administering the test over 18 holes instead of 36, elimination of the "IN" and "OUT" target scores, and the establishment of separate target scores for men, women and seniors.

Prospective applicants may click below to learn more about the steps to become a PGA Professional, the benefits involved in joining the Association, and the pathway to obtaining Apprentice and Class "A" Professional status.

Please note that due to the new PAT structure, past years' PAT schedules should not be used as a reference to predict this year's eligible events. The PGA of BC's 2020 PAT schedule will be released in the weeks ahead, but applicants are advised that the first of five anticipated opportunities to participate in a British Columbia PAT will take place in early April in the Lower Mainland region. More information about this event will be available when the full PAT schedule is revealed.
