FEBRUARY 7, 2024

After another strong booking season and what appears to be a relatively dry winter across Canada G&G Brands is excited for spring and the golf season to begin.

We are poised to accept more ASAP orders than ever before with record low production turn-around times and more team members at HQ than ever before. The TravisMathew trailer will also be re-branded this April for a hopefully long Vancouver Canucks playoff run before turning back into the TravisMathew Experience set to begin mid-may and visit courses across western Canada.

The R&D team is hard at work creating new designs and colourways for a variety of our accessories & headwear and after another successful PGA Show in Orlando we look forward to adding 1-2 new brands later this year.

We thank the PGA of BC for its continued partnership, it is relationships like these that matter most to us and we look forward to continue to grow that relationship as we enter our 33rd year in business. G&G Brands will once again be joining the PGA of BC in supporting the 2024 Pro-Assistant Championship at Copper Point Golf Club.

Based in Langley, BC, G&G Brands is a leading Canadian wholesale supplier of lifestyle and sporting goods, specializing in both golf and corporate promotional industries. Since Gord German founded the business in 1991, it has continued to evolve and remains proudly family-owned, with daily operations carried out by Brad and Jessica German. G&G offers over twenty top-quality brands, two national sales forces and a best-in-class customer service team to support over 1000 active accounts across Canada.

The 2024 PGA of BC Education Seminar presented by TaylorMade Golf Canada was a massive success, with over 200 attendees joining us at the River Rock Casino Resort for two days of phenomenal presentations. The stacked lineup of speakers featured speeches that were powerful, informative, moving and entertaining.

The Association extends our gratitude to all the amazing presenters: Tara Llanes, Team Canada Paralympian and advocate for all-abilities athletics; Chris Mayson, Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher and Golf Digest Best Young Teacher in America; Mark Crossfield, Golf Coach and YouTube star; Sarah Spain, ESPN reporter, columnist and host; Dr. Harry Sese, "The Golfing Doc" and Clinic Director, Golfeltica and Shawn Farmer-Sese, Director of Sports Performance, Golfletica; Jennifer Morton, CEO, Association of Golf Merchandisers; Jeff Stipec, Senior Executive, Oilers Entertainment Group; and Ralph Bauer, Golf Coach and founder, Tour Read Golf app.

We also would like to offer a special thank you to TaylorMade Golf Canada and Sales Manager Lance Antonenko for their phenomenal support of our marquee education event. These events would not be possible without the generous support of our partners.

Stay tuned for a full recap of the Education Seminar, to be released tomorrow! For any questions, please reach out to Executive Director Mark Strong at [email protected].

PGA of BC Education Seminar attendees enjoyed a post-event Social Hour Monday evening. The Social Hour included great drinks, delicious appetizers and tons of laughter and networking between PGA of BC professionals and Seminar speakers.

The Association thanks Club Prophet and National Sales Director Torrey Schultz for their support of the Social Hour, and for their presence at the event. To learn more about Club Prophet and how they can add value to your club, please visit their website or reach out to Torrey at [email protected].

We hope you all had a fantastic time!

Global News reporter Jay Janower spoke with Seminar speaker Mark Crossfield about his social media career and the future of golf in an increasingly digital world. The Association's Mark Strong and Kyla Inaba were also interviewed for the segment. We extend our appreciation to Janower and Global News for their coverage of the Seminar.
