SPRING EDUCATION SEMINAR A FORMIDABLE EVENT
|
The 2023 Spring Education Seminar was a rousing success, with upwards of 180 Professionals from around the province enjoying a lineup of memorable expert speakers.
Members networked and socialized with their peers, while taking in a diverse breadth of information and experiences.
Following the first day, attendees gathered to mingle at Pat Quinn's Restaurant for the inaugural G&G Brands Spring Social. The PGA of BC would like to extend our appreciation to G&G Brands for supporting this event.
The Association thanks all those who attended the Spring Education Seminar and helped make it an extraordinary event. We would also like to thank Sarah Draws a Crowd, whose incredible artistic representations of each speaker’s presentation helped create everlasting memories of the Seminar.

NEW MEMBER INTAKE FOR CAREER ADVISORY PROGRAM NOW OPEN
|
After successfully establishing an incredibly strong and diverse mentorship pool, the PGA of BC Administration Team is excited to announce that the next phase of the 2023 Career Advisory Program initiative is now open. New members joining the association since 2020 can now sign-up to be matched to a mentor that can best help them achieve their career goals and ambitions.
To participate in the program, new members are kindly asked to complete the intake survey found HERE . The survey only takes a few minutes to finish. Once completed, further communication will be provided introducing mentors and mentees for the 2023 year. If you have any questions about the process or the program itself, please reach out to Programs Manager, Dan Czerwenka at dan@pgabc.org.

ASHLEY ZIBRIK SWORN IN AS 42nd PGA OF BC PRESIDENT
|
The PGA of BC is extremely proud to announce Ashley Zibrik as the Association’s 42nd President and first woman to ever serve in the role.
Zibrik, Head Professional at Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club, has served the PGA of BC and its Board for six years as a Director, Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Administration, roles in which she displayed selfless leadership and helped strengthen the culture of the Board.
Zibrik was sworn in as President Monday evening during the PGA of BC Annual General Meeting, following the first day of the 2023 Spring Education Seminar. Zibrik assumes the role from past President Adam Blair, Executive Professional at Vernon Golf & Country Club.
