JULY 6, 2023

After a record-breaking peak season, summer is in full swing at G&G Brands. Though spring is our busiest time of the year, things are only heating up for us. Our TravisMathew Experience has already been all over British Columbia and Alberta providing a unique, exciting shopping experience (and the occasional beer!) for fans of the brand, as well as introducing it to a whole new roster of players. If you see our 36’ trailer out on the road between now and September, give us a honk and a hello!

We are also looking forward to our upcoming annual sales meeting in mid-July, hosted in Kelowna. These events are a hit every year, and we expect no different in 2023. It is always a pleasure to get everyone together and share the exciting new products and partnerships our dedicated sales representatives can expect to see in upcoming seasons. We can’t wait to share with all of you what is coming in 2024. Keep an eye out for new partnerships, new product lines, and, as ever, a hard-working team ensuring everything is always awesome.

This year's Kal Tire Order of Merit standings race is shaping up, with Seymour Creek Golf Centre's Steven Lecuyer in first place after a strong start to the season, including a victory at the PGA of BC Assistants' Championship presented by Rolo Golf & Replay Golf Supplies.

Northview Golf & Country Club's John Shin is Lecuyer's closest challenger, while Cheam Mountain Golf Course's Kevin Stinson rounds out the top-three. Both pros have remained consistently competitive at PGA of BC championships and G&G Tour events to earn their place among the Order of Merit leaders.

This season, the Association has partnered with Kal Tire to deliver an improved and more competitive rally for the title with the introduction of a purse for top competitors.

We are proud to be paying out the top-10 finishers in the season-long race from a purse of $5,000. In addition, the Order of Merit champion will receive a $500 Kal Tire gift certificate, while the 2nd- through 5th-place finishers will be awarded $200 gift certificates.

Money raised also goes towards: support groups; psychological treatment services; Camp Alohi Lani, a youth summer camp for those with relatives living with ALS; and PROJECT HOPE, which raises money to fund an ALS research centre at UBC.
