PRO-ASSISTANT & TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS MONDAY
The Association's 2019 tournament schedule includes long-awaited return to the Kootenays for this year's G&G Golf Company & Callaway Golf PGA of BC Pro-Assistant Championship, and members still have an opportunity to save on the cost of registration.

This year's tournament is set for July 8-9 at Copper Point Golf Club. The Pro-Assistant Championship sees Club Professionals (Head, Executive or Head Teaching Professionals) team up with another member affiliated at their facility to compete as a duo over 36 holes against their colleagues. The opening round utilizes a best-ball format, while the final round switches to scramble play.

Early registration rates for the Pro-Assistant Championship will be in effect until Monday, June 17 . The event's general registration deadline is June 28 .

Please note that Copper Point Golf Club staff and our Preferred Partners at Corporate Traveller are helping to make travel for out-of-region teams as convenient as possible. Shuttle service to and from the tournament venue will be available for those arriving and departing on identified flights via Canadian Rockies International Airport in Cranbrook. Full travel information, including relevant flight details and instructions on how to book through Corporate Traveller are available on the event page . Those booking through Corporate Traveller will have the cost of transporting their golf clubs waived.

New for 2019, the PGA of BC Team Championship will take place simultaneously with the Pro-Assistant Championship. The Team Championship is meant to accommodate members who would otherwise be ineligible to participate in the Pro-Assistant Championship but would like the opportunity to experience two days of relaxed golf in one of the province's most beautiful settings. The Team Championship will permit teams that include Professionals from different facilities, those unaffiliated with a facility and without restrictions on membership category.

Although Team Championship squads will compete separately from those in the Pro-Assistant, prizing will be up for grabs primarily through a skins-game format.
